There are several people suffering from cankles and most probably you are too if you are reading this article. The problem with cankles is that you can surely cure them but it takes a lot of time but by a few means you can surely hide them and treat them gradually. Dietary Changes:

Swimming & Other Exercises:

Making swimming a part of your weekly routine, Saturday and Sundays you should go and swim as much as you can since this is the best exercise along with other exercises specifically for legs for example calf raises; doing this would tone your legs and calves along with decreasing overall body excessive fat.

Use Footwear:

With time you will start feeling more confident; now you can use footwear to hide your cankles and carry on with wearing skirts and shorts if you wish to. You can purchase some nice looking boots that can suit most of your dressings and can also come up a bit above the ankles. If you are not really a boot person then wear longer socks with shoes; socks can hurt your looks so I would prefer going with boots. Wearing boots would show that now you have gained confidence and your cankles are a bit better so slow down just a bit with all the work and give your muscles a day off every week. Do not decrease your water intake at any cost and do not increase your salt intake either; puffiness in the area of ankles would get reduced with the passage of time for sure.

Cankles is something that basically attacks due to excessive fats in the body and this happens when you are not eating healthy. Although several skinny and slim people are targeted by cankles but these cases are very few compared to cases found among obese people. You need to carry on with healthy dietary, swimming and leg exercises, and keeping low on specific things such as sodium and salt; following these measures strictly with dedication will make sure that you get rid of cankles once and for all; achieving this goal is surely tough but not impossible by any means.
