Pineapple chunks in fruit juice (not syrup): 1 can of 15 oz.

Mandarin oranges in fruit juice (not syrup): 2 cans of 11 oz.

Banana (cut in big pieces): 1 large

Cantaloupe, (cut into big pieces): 2 cups

Fresh mint (finely chopped): ¼ cup

Ginger snaps (crushed): 6

Glazed walnuts: 2 oz.

Preparation:

To make this ambrosia fruit salad drain the pineapple and orange, then place them in a big bowl. Then you should add the banana and the cantaloupe pieces and the fresh mint. Now toss all the ingredients so that they are mixed properly. Now dress the salad with the ginger snaps and the walnuts and serve. In case you are not planning to serve the salad immediately, you can mix all the fruits and the mint and refrigerate it. Add the ginger and walnut just before you serve.

Shredded coconut: 7 oz.

Sour cream: Two containers 16 oz.

Fruit cocktail: 4 cans (16 oz.)

Peaches: 2 cans (16 oz.)

Small marshmallows: 1 cup

Drain the juices from the fruits and mix all the fruits in a big serving bowl. Now add the sour cream to the fruits mix and gently mix it. Make sure that you don’t smash up the fruits.
